Having procrastinated over taking your Ethical Sales and Communication programme for well over a year, I now regret not saying 'yes' sooner.
The hands on course has really helped everyone in the team in terms of communication between colleagues and especially to patients. We are now able to talk confidently about the service we provide with a real sense of pride and enthusiasm. And the result? A definate increase in the word 'yes' from our patients.
The investment made in this course is already paying dividends and I would say to anyone considering this course 'don't procrastinate..... just say 'yes''.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. What are the Core concepts of the Programme? This programme is not about turning Orthodontists into hard faced salespeople. The core philosophy of the programme is about building stronger relationships with your patients, so that they take on board your ideas, build stronger relationships and ultimately this leads to more patients saying YES. It is about connecting with the patient, not selling servcies to them that they don't need.

2. Why is this programme so popular? With reduced NHS contracts and all the uncertainty for the future, Orthodontists are going to have to increase their private work. There is also a greater desire from patients for more cosmetic work and this means that dentists and their teams need to communicate and sell their ideas better to the patient. The patient is now demanding this. Having the technical skills is important, but if you can't present your ideas well, you will not be able to put your technical skills into practice.

3. How is the programme delivered? The course is delivered over two full days with a follow up tele-conference coaching call a month after. The programme is not a lecture, but participants receive real life coaching so that they develop new skills, a more positive attitude and increase in confidence. This leads to people improving their performance back in the practice. The programme is fun, motivational and a very enjoyable experience.

4. Who should do the programme? The programme is relevant to anyone who has direct contact with patients. A lot of Practices bring their teams, as it ensures everyone sings off the same hymn sheet.

5. Does the programme work? Over the last nine years over a 3000 participants have taken part on the course from the Dentistry Profession. Over 97% come from either recommendation, or repeat business from existing clients. We often get emails and telephone calls from happy participants who tell us they have achieve an instant payback within a few days of being back in the practice. They also tell us for the very first time in their lives they are now doing the dentistry that they have spent thousands of pounds developing and I often get asked why they weren't taught these skills at Dentistry School. Over 99% of the participants tell us that the course exceeded their expectations.

6. Do you follow up after the programme? We have a tele-conference six weeks after. In addition, you can have access to Ashley for unlimited coaching on request

7. Does the programme qualify for CPD? Everyone will receive a certificate showing 14 hours CPD.

8. Can the course be delivered in house? Yes, Ashley personally delivers the programme in House to around a dozen practices a year on average. We can design the course on your agenda and also it will save the practice travel and accommodation expenses.

9. How many participants take part? On average we normally have around 28-30 participants taking part. We also invite participants who have done the programme before, so that they can give examples of the techniques and also help other people get the best from the course.

10. If you were to summarize, what are the main benefits dentists get from taking part on the course? There are many. However, if we were to prioritise the top six these would be; Increase in uptake of treatment plans More confidence in discussing fees and achieving the right prices for the services you provide Be able to communicate better and build stronger relationships with their patients. Increase in self confidence and self esteem Increase in uptake of parents paying for their children when they don't qualify Able to uncover new opportunities with their patients they had previously missed.

11. How much does the programme cost? The investment for the Orthodontist is £975 plus vat and for the team members it is £595 plus vat. 10% discount for four members or more 15% discount for 5 members Enrol six team members and the seventh goes FREE Included in the price is the 2 day programme, 120 page manual, CD/DVD Don't Wait for Tooth Fairy ( 40 minute version of the whole programme) other materials, all refreshments and lunches.
