It’s a pleasure to write this testimonial, following my participation in Ashley Latter’s Ethical Sales and Communication Course in Dundee, 2011.

I went along with my business partner and friend, Phil Redfearn as well as 2 of our dental nurses. If we’d known what was to follow, we’d have taken more of the team.

Day one started with getting to know the other delegates which was fun - it was good to get out of the practice for a day and immediately feel the benefit of talking to other like-minded professionals.

Quickly, we moved on to getting a better understanding of patients’ needs, not by looking at charts, xrays and photos but by listening to the patient. By the end of the day, we were relaxed enough in each others company to stand up and close deals on anything from tooth whitening to a new suit for Ashley ( true story).

After an (unofficial!) Will and Kate tour in nearby St Andrews at the end of the first day (not an official part of the course!) , day two really pushed me in terms of my ability to communicate effectively with patients. It was challenging and great fun at the same time.
